Mahalo to INPEACE for inviting and moderating a panel of experts: Small Business Administration (SBA), State Department of Taxation (DoTax), and Liberty Tax. Thank you to Waiʻanae Economic Development Council, Hiʻilei Aloha, Clear Bench LLC, and Native Hawaiian Hospitality for providing business resources. Mahalo to Waiʻanae Gold owner, Vince Dodge for sharing his product and encouraging wise business practices. See you at the next entrepreneur conference on May 21st!
Cancer Awareness Hike
On January 17th, we joined close to 100 people for a Cancer Awareness hike organized by Howard Militante in honor of those affected by breast cancer. He organized the hike for Aunt Sweets who is a cancer survivor and celebrated her birthday the same day. We want to thank the American Cancer Society for supporting this event by donating the use of signs and balloons. Thank you to KHON2 for providing news coverage. It was awesome to see so many community members wake up early and gather for such a great cause!
Walk Wise Hawaii
On January 11th, we partnered with Walkwise to increase pedestrian safety in memory of two pedestrian fatalities. Please contact us if you would like Walkwise to present and share safety resources with your club, team, or group. “Wear white. Cross at a light. Look left and look right!” We are hoping to educate at least 1,000 members in the community about pedestrian safety leading up to Pedestrian Awareness Month in August! Contact us to join in!
Defend The Family Conference
On February 8th we will be hosting two organizations that defend the family across the nation. Concerned parents should contact us for details on how to attend the conference and be informed!
