The Rotary Club of Kapolei is preparing to host its annual wine-tasting fundraiser called “Evening at Lanikuhonua.” The event is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Saturday, March 13 at Lanikuhonua inside the Ko Olina Beach Resort. Guests will be able to sample various wines and food from Roy’s Restaurant, Don Ho’s Island Grill as well as Formaggio Restaurant. Also, a few items will be up for grabs in a silent auction. Tickets are $50 for a seat or $1,000 for a table with ten people. Proceeds will go to international Rotary projects such as wiping out polio abroad and eliminating threats to water purity in countries like Uganda. Last year, the event drew more than 300 people and raised an estimated $6,000 for the club’s humanitarian missions abroad. “We have an outstanding group of volunteers who are extremely passionate about making this year’s event a success,” said Lorraine Gershun, event chairwoman and vice president of the Rotary Club of Kapolei. “Our guests will enjoy an interesting variety of good wine and good food, in a fun and casual, party-like atmosphere.” For more information about the event, contact This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it Set as favorite Bookmark
