OAHU, Hawaii – April 27, 2016 – Ko Olina Resort’s beachfront will play host to a day of festival-style screenings, live performances, entertainment acts, “dive-in” beach movies and more. For the grand finale, the Festival presents a special appearance by internationally renowned ukulele virtuoso and composer, Jake Shimabukuro and the Disney Channel’s newest short film, Ku’u Lei Melody.
The Festival will take place from 1:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m. throughout Ko Olina’s Kohola Lagoon 1 and Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa. For the third consecutive year, 100 percent of ticket proceeds benefit Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children, the largest health care provider and front-runner in care for women, infants and children in Hawaii. Tickets are priced at $25 for adults ($30 at the door), $10 for kids 12 and under and may be purchased here. The Festival is complimentary for keiki three years and younger. Signage will direct attendees to a designated parking area at $10 per car and guests will be shuttled to the Festival grounds.

Chamber Music Hawaii’s Spring Wind Quintet is recognized as one of the country’s leading wind groups. This interactive educational program includes descriptions of the instruments, plus a variety of Hawaiian and Classical selections, including those by Keola Beamer, Charles King, Alex Anderson, Malcolm Arnold -plus a very special selection by the composer ‘Anonymous’: The Mouthpiece Serenade!
